About
Laura Peter-Azeez
I research how small businesses survive and adapt during tough times, especially in places where systems don’t always work the way they should.
Right now, I’m finishing my PhD on how Nigerian entrepreneurs respond to crises. I’ve interviewed over 50 business owners and studied how they stay afloat through things like digital tools, personal networks, and practical strategies. My work looks at what resilience really means when support is limited and conditions are unpredictable.
I also created a simple tool called SABINA to help small business owners reflect on how ready they are for the next shock, not just financially, but in how they run and adapt their business.
This space is where I share what I’m learning and building. I care about making business thinking more useful, more honest, and more grounded in real life, not just theory.
